Love My Friends Award
I received this award from my pal Joanie over at Joanie's Random Ramblings, and I was really touched. She's been a bright spot for me since I started this blog, and I am happy to "pass on the Love."
The Love My Friends Award is given to those bloggers who aspire, inspire and share the most beautiful of human attributes: art, wisdom and friendship. Deliver this award to eight bloggers who must choose eight more.
It's a little tricky to define a "friend" in the blogosphere, sort of like the way my kids define their "friends" on Facebook. But for the list below, I went with people whose blogs I really enjoy checking in on as much as possible, and with whom I have exchanged thoughtful and genuine emails with as part of the whole "comment" process.
Getting to know these bloggers has made me really glad I started this whole thing.

Too busy to accept an award (especially a 'Love My Friends' award!)...nonesense!
That's the beauty of friendship...you are never 'too busy'. Personal friends or bloggy friends.

As Nancy said, never to busy to accept an award, and this one is especially nice. I've enjoyed getting to know you too and truly think of you as a friend. (And I'm not just saying that so I have a place to stay the next time we go to the Vineyard! :)
